My article in the September 2012 issue of Concrete Homes Magazine discusses social media for contractors.

Many contractors think that if they aren’t completely engrossed in social media that they are missing out or doing something wrong. You can’t blame them; social media is all you hear about these days.

I believe social media is but one of many marketing tactics that contractors should be using.  It shouldn't be the only thing you do. It should complement your other marketing efforts.

If you put all of your marketing eggs in the social media basket, then you will never grow your construction business to its fullest potential.
