The organizers of the World of Concrete asked me to speak at their convention again this year.

This will be the third year that I have been a presenter at the Las Vegas event, which is the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry industries.

Contractor Marketing Techniques for Getting Work at Higher Prices

While many concrete contractors have seen an increase in workload, profits have not increased at the same rate. In this presentation, I'll show you how to differentiate your company from others in your market. You'll learn how to find the right prospects that will pay higher prices.  And, I'll show you how to focus your sales and marketing efforts on those prospects for best results.

Some things you will learn:

  1. Identify your ideal prospects and clients to produce better sales results.
  2. Develop a unique market position that separates you from your competition.
  3. Assess lifetime value of customers and how much to invest in getting new customers.
  4. Establish a method of concentrating your sales and marketing efforts on the highest paying prospects.

How to Increase Profitability by Creating Simple, Effective Systems

Most contractors know that they should have systems in place throughout their business. However, many have never learned how to actually create those systems. With examples from actual concrete construction firms, this seminar will walk participants through the eight steps of creating simple, yet highly effective systems that will improve the quality of work, reduce mistakes, eliminate headaches, and increase profitability.
Some things you will learn:

  1. Identify what areas of your company can benefit from systems implementation.
  2. Apply the specific steps required to build an effective system.
  3. Employ tools to implement each system for best results, with buy-in from everyone involved.
  4. Establish a follow-up process to ensure new systems stay in place and in use.
